About Me
My name is Liesbeth Godrie and I am from The Netherlands. After being trained as a fashion designer I became a freelance all-round stylist. In the past 30 years I have been working in Photography, Fashion and Interior styling, theatre designer, and window- and showroom dresser. I regularly received assignments to design and implement wall- and floor paintings. Last but not least, I’m an art teacher.

Education
Starting at home, in my atelier, giving art lessons to children became increasingly prevalent. After obtaining my teaching qualification in art subjects, it became my main activity. As a certified visual arts teacher I am always looking for new forms of expression. I present this to children to increase their knowledge of the subject matter, thereby increasing their skills and stimulating their imagination. Meanwhile, I regularly exhibited autonomous work in group exhibitions.
Exhibitions
One of the exhibitions I’m very proud of is the one in the Basilica in Oudenbosch. Together with the works children of different schools in the village made under my artistic direction we turned the Basilica into a museum. The other thing I’m proud of are the workshops I gave in “Het Nieuwe Instituut” (the new institute) in Rotterdam. Workshops for students on the theme “Fleece it up” . I wrote and ran a program about pollution from plastic used in clothing.
